Henry Dyson (He/Him/His) is known for his spontaneous and committed choices in his acting work. He is a proud Black artist raised in Pasadena, California. His charming yet commanding stage presence has allowed him to play roles such as Charlemagne in “Pippin”, Jack Kelly in “Newsies”, and Omari in “Pipeline”, being 6 foot 3 also helps. Regionally, Henry took on 3 tracks as an Ensemble Swing in The Phoenix Theatre Company’s “Dreamgirls” and acted in their festival of new works in the role of Tripp in “The Consoling Mechanism.” His passion for acting also reaches television and film. Having acted in several short films he is as comfortable in front of the camera as he is on stage. He appreciates the nuances in acting approaches on stage versus film. His other passions include baseball, an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan, plants, and taking his bearded dragon Gus to the store.
